The Maxtesa FLUX160 semi-automatic welding machine uses advanced IGBT technology for efficient operation and reliable performance. It supports two welding types:
MMA--Manual Metal Arc Welding, using a consumable electrode; MIG/MAG--Semi-automatic welding, can perform DC welding using wire in a protective gas environment.
FLUX (FCAW) – In MIG/MAG mode, supports polarity conversion and gasless welding using self-shielded flux-cored wire, greatly enhancing the equipment's versatility in different environments.
The device is equipped with a digital display and two current-voltage regulators for smooth, independent manual setting and parameter control. Welding mode switching is convenient and intuitive, with an indicator for the activated mode. Overload and overheat protection significantly extend the tool's lifespan.
The use of self-shielded wire expands the equipment's metal processing range, covering various materials from ferrous to non-ferrous metals. The welding process is highly automated, requiring no complex experience or specialized tools, allowing beginners to get started quickly.
The built-in wire feeding mechanism automatically adjusts the wire feeding speed to adapt to different metal types and welding conditions. The device achieves continuous electrode supply through an automated wire feeding system, which can automatically complete the wire feeding, arc starting, and welding processes, reducing the need for frequent electrode changes while maintaining arc stability and forming uniform, high-quality welds.
The welding current adjustment range is wide, from 40 to 160 amperes, allowing users to select optimal parameters based on specific tasks.
The device is also equipped with several practical functions: "Arc Force" helps stabilize arc ignition, "Hot Start" simplifies the welding startup process, and the "Anti-Stick" function prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece, thereby improving overall welding quality and operational smoothness.
The equipment supports multiple welding methods:
Using MIG mode in an inert gas environment (e.g., Argon)
Using MAG mode in an active gas (e.g., carbon dioxide) environment
FCAW mode using self-shielded wire, no external gas required
Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) mode using flux-cored electrodes
Product advantages:
● Updated electronic component library using modern IGBT power modules.
● Versatile application: Supports MMA, MIG/MAG, and FLUX welding modes.
● Digital display for monitoring current and voltage parameters.
● Two regulators for independent setting of current and voltage parameters in manual adjustment mode.
● Switchable automatic synchronization adjustment of welding current and voltage, which can be enabled as needed.
● Protection against overload and overheating.
● HOT START function provides maximum current at the moment of arc ignition for a smooth start.
● Arc voltage drop function (ARC FORCE) reduces the possibility of electrode sticking and improves arc stability.
● ANTI STICK function reduces welding current when the electrode sticks.
● FLUX mode, for self-shielded wire welding without using gas.
● Universal support spindle for 1kg spools.
Applications:For semi-automatic wire welding in inert and active gas environments, as well as manual arc welding using a consumable electrode.
