Product Introduction

Maxtesa FLUX160 semi-automatic welding machine

The Maxtesa FLUX160 welding machine is built on modern IGBT technology, characterized by high efficiency and stable operation. Supports two main types of welding:
MMA – manual arc welding with coated consumable electrodes;
MIG/MAG – semi-automatic welding with solid wire using direct current in a shielding gas environment.
FLUX (FCAW) mode: within the MIG/MAG mode, polarity can be changed and welding with self-shielded flux-cored wire without shielding gas is available, which significantly expands the equipment's application scope in different conditions.
The device is equipped with a digital display and two current and voltage regulators for smooth independent manual adjustment of operating parameters. Switching welding modes is simple and intuitive with active mode indication. The presence of overload and overheat protection extends the service life of the device.
The use of self-shielded flux-cored wire allows for working with a wide range of metals: ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. The high degree of automation in the welding process does not require deep experience or special tools; the device is convenient even for beginner welders.
The built-in wire feeding mechanism automatically adjusts the feed speed according to the metal type and welding conditions. Automatic continuous wire feeding ensures easy arc ignition and a stable welding process, eliminates frequent electrode changes, and forms a smooth, high-quality weld seam.
Welding current adjustment range: 40–160 A, allows for selecting optimal values for a specific task.
Additional useful functions: arc voltage boost for stable ignition, hot start function for easier welding initiation, anti-stick electrode prevents electrode from sticking to the workpiece, improving weld quality and work comfort.

Supported Welding Modes

  • MIG Mode: welding in an inert gas environment (argon, etc.)
  • MAG Mode: welding in an active gas environment (carbon dioxide, etc.)
  • FCAW (FLUX) mode: welding with self-shielded wire without external shielding gas
  • MMA mode: manual welding with coated electrodes

Product Advantages

● Modern electronic components on updated IGBT power modules
● Versatility: supports MMA, MIG/MAG, FLUX modes
● Digital display for monitoring current and voltage indicators
● Two independent regulators for manual current and voltage adjustment
● Disengageable automatic synchronous current and voltage adjustment function at the user's request
● Built-in overload and overheat protection
● Hot Start: a temporary increase in current at the moment of ignition for a soft welding start
