Warranty Service Terms
When purchasing tools, please check if the warranty card is filled out in the user manual. When purchasing online, the warranty card may not be filled out. In this case, we strongly recommend that you print and save the cash register receipt (delivery note) to confirm the purchase date of the tool and present it when visiting the service center.
1. This warranty certificate is the sole document proving your right to free warranty service. No claims will be accepted without presenting this certificate. Lost or damaged warranty certificates will not be reissued.
2. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale. During the warranty period, the repair service department will eliminate production defects free of charge and replace parts damaged due to manufacturer reasons.
No equivalent qualified tool is provided during warranty repairs. Replaced parts belong to the service center.
Maxtesa Company is not responsible for damages that may occur during the use of electric tools.
3. Tools are accepted for warranty repair in a clean condition and must be accompanied by properly filled-out documents: the serial number on the body label, the warranty card with complete fields, the stamp of the trading organization, and the signature of the purchaser.
4. Warranty repair service is not provided in the following cases:
- In the absence of a warranty card or if it is incorrectly filled out;
- When the rotor and stator of the electric motor fail simultaneously, when the primary coil of a welding machine, charger, or starter-charger burns out or melts, when internal parts melt, or when the electronic board is burned through;
- If the warranty card or receipt does not belong to the electric tool, or does not match the sample provided by the supplier;
- After the warranty period expires;
- If an attempt is made to disassemble or repair the electric tool independently outside of an authorized service station;
- Structural modifications and lubrication of the tool during the warranty period, for example, bending of the body parts in the groove area.
- When electric tools are used for production or other profit-related purposes, and when faults caused by unstable mains parameters exceed the range specified by national standards;
- Improper use (using electric tools for unintended purposes, installing accessories, additional devices, etc., not designed by the manufacturer for the electric tool);
- When the casing, power cord are mechanically damaged, or when damage is caused by contact with corrosive substances, high or low temperatures, foreign objects entering the air intake grille of the electric tool, and improper storage (corrosion of metal parts);
- When electric tool parts naturally wear out due to prolonged use (judged by signs of complete or partial depletion of resource, severe contamination, rust inside and outside the electric tool, aging of lubricant in the gearbox, etc.);
- When the tool is not used for its intended purpose as specified in the user manual.
- When the tool experiences mechanical damage;
- Damage caused by non-compliance with the operating conditions specified in the manual (see the "Safety Precautions" section of the manual).
- Damage to the product caused by non-compliance with storage and transportation rules.
Preventive maintenance of electric tools (cleaning, washing, lubrication, replacement of dust covers, piston rings, and seals) is a paid service within the warranty period.
The design life of this product is 5 years. The storage period is 2 years. It is not recommended to use the product more than 2 years after the manufacturing date (see the serial number on the tool label) without prior inspection.
After diagnosis at the service center, the purchaser will be informed of any possible violations of the above warranty service conditions.
The purchaser trusts the service center to perform diagnostics in their absence.
It is forbidden to use the electric tool when there are signs of overheating, sparking, or noise from the gearbox. To determine the cause of the fault, the purchaser should contact the warranty repair point.
Faults caused by failure to replace motor carbon brushes in a timely manner are the responsibility of the purchaser.
5. The warranty does not apply to:
- Replaceable accessories (attachments and tools), such as: grinding wheels, blades, drill bits, reamers, chucks, chains, sprockets, chucks, tires, tensioning and fixing elements, trimmer heads, grinding wheels for polishers and band saws, filters, interchangeable hex bits, etc.
- Fast-wearing parts, such as: carbon brushes, drive belts, oil seals, protective covers, guide rollers, guide rails, rubber seals, bearings, timing belts and gears, brake bands, pawls and starter ropes, piston rings, etc.
Replacement of the above parts within the warranty period is a paid service.
- Power cords. If the insulation is damaged, the power cord must be replaced without the user's consent (service fee applies), including the power cord of the instrument casing.
